Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria)

The Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria) is an autonomous institution, established as the system of external quality assurance in Austria. AQA applies international standards of quality assurance within the Austrian higher education system. It checks the quality of studies and higher education institutions in Austria.

The National Information Centre for Academic Recognition, ENIC NARIC Austria is in charge of issues linked to the international recognition of academic degrees and titles. It is part of the international networks ENIC- European Network of Information Centres, founded by euro Europe and UNESCO and NARIC- National Academic Recognition Information Centres, established by the European Union. ENIC NARIC AUSTRIA is the official point of contact for all cross-border recognition matters in higher education.
